Our low international toll free access rates as displayed to the right ensure an easy and cost effective-way of scheduling participating from conferees located outside the U.S. Low dial out rates enable the conference call leader to "dial out" to participants in regions from which toll free access is unavailable.
Include Conference Call participants from countries where toll free access is unavailable Your conference call audience is not limited to those countries from which toll free access is available. You may invite any participant located anywhere in the world to join your conference by simply dialing a U.S. toll number. Of course, when this happens, the caller incurs long distance charges to the U.S. for dialing directly to the U.S. bridge number. Your account is charged the conferencing bridge rate of 6.9¢ per minute for calls to the regular U.S. toll number.
The conference call leader/moderator has the option of enabling "dial out" feature, which enables you to dial out to conference participants anywhere in the world through simple touchtone prompts from your telephone keypad. In some cases, international dial out rates may be less expensive than the toll free access rate from a given country. In this case, dial out can be used as a cost-cutting tool.
Upon account activation, you will be issued a moderator passcode
(for you, as the account holder and moderator, or leader, of the conference). Additional sets of leader passodes and participant passcodes can be issued
if you have other groups in your organization that would benefit from this service for other projects.
1. All participants dial into the conference bridge using the toll free access number associated with the country from which they will place their call.
2. All participants are prompted to enter their passcode.
NOTE: When initiating the international conference call, the leader will enter his/her own unique leader passcode whereas all other conference call participants enter the very same participant passcode.
3. Everyone is connected and the conference call begins.
As the leader/operator, you have the option of recording the conference call. This is a free service which simply requires that you press [ * 2 ]. Our system begins recording immediately. An MP3 file of the recorded call is later delivered to you via E-mail immediately following completion of the call.
Who Pays for the Call? The account owner pays for the call; that is, whoever sets up the account. All per minute costs are billed to the account owner at 6.9¢ per minute / per participant (conference bridge fee) plus any associated long distance charges (i.e., extra charges for toll free access from outside the U.S. or leader dial out charges).
Participants who dial the U.S. toll free access number or the international toll free access numbers from outside the U.S. are not charged. As mentioned earlier, some account owners choose to provide conference participants with the U.S. toll access number. When this occurs, the flat rate will always be 6.9¢ per minute / per participant. This strategy is useful for participants who have lost cost and reliable means for calling the U.S. The distinct advantage, however, of offering toll free access (or dialing out is that it enables you to expand your audience to conference participants who might not otherwise choose to join the call.
Convenient Monthly Billing to Major Credit Card We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Each month you receive a fully itemized invoice that lists your conference call detail for the previous calendar month. The invoice is sent via E-mail (PDF attachment) by the 5th of the month. Your credit card on file is then debited the following week for the invoice total.
Billing via Invoice with 30 day Payment Terms The vast majority of our customers pay with credit card. We recognize, however, that some customers prefer the option of receiving an invoice and making payment by check. This option is available to customers based in the U.S. All customers located outside the U.S., however, are required to make payment via credit card or debit card on a monthly basis.
